VEPL has successfully commissioned and handed over Bio-Methanated Spent Wash Based Integrated Evaporation Plant at Modi Distillery U.P. India suitable to process 250 m3/day of Effluent from initial 6% solids to 30% solids. With this success; VEPL continuous to offer innovative solutions in the Ethanol industry with energy efficiency and optimization as the main theme.
One day conference on "Upcoming Distillery & ZLD technologies" was organized by UP Distillers' Association on 6th February, 2015. Conference was attended by, over 100 key participants from Uttar Pradesh distillery industry. Event 'Chief Guest' was none other than Dr. B. Sengupta, Ex-Member Secretary & currently Chairman of Environmental Committee, Ministry of Environment. He graced the occasion with his continuous presence and presented his views on water pollution control & Zero Liquid discharge.
VAPCO was a Silver sponsor for this event. Mr. Manoj Panwar ( M.D.) & Mr. Sandeep Sood ( Vice President) addressed the audience on legacy of "Indian Distillery Industry". Present challenges in effluent management & treatment were reviewed and focus was provided for Molasses based distilleries, as they have more exposure in Uttar Pradesh. Mr. Sood also emphasized on current challenges in Effluent treatment. The audience was assured that VAPCO will hand hold with its customer to overcome these challenges with their Technologically advance & Economical solutions for distillery operations & effluent treatment.
All India distiller's association conducted two day technical seminar on 18th & 19th February, 2016 in Delhi. Conference was focused on "improvement in distillery efficiencies" & "Effluent treatment technologies to achieve zero discharge". Eminent delegates from reputed distilleries were present & shared their views on the current affairs in the distillery industry, pertaining to the subjects.
VAPCO was represented by Mr. Sandeep Sood ( Vice President) & Mr. Vivek Kodilkar ( Manager-Business Development). VEPL presented paper on "Energy Efficient process solutions for Distillery & Effluent Management". VEPL's thoughts were well received by the audience followed by interactive question answer round.
